Madonna's Box (Set)
Not too long ago Madonna's manager, Caresse Henry Norman, made a very exciting announcement that she'd be putting together a box set to celebrate Madonna's 20 years in music.
Upon hearing this I took some time to consider what would best represent Madonna's career. I then posted my first draft of a box set to AbsMad Forum members and took their suggestions to create
a better release proposal to be put forth to Caresse for consideration (from a fan's perspective).
So what you find here is going to be an ever changing ideal Madonna box set proposal. Here we go!
The box set will include:
- 4 x CDs highlighting Madonna's singles
- 1 x CD of b-sides and other rarities
- 3 x DVDs of Madonna's music videos
- Lyric Book to all songs included in the collection
- A well-researched, high-quality retrospective book with things such as Madonna talking about recording the songs, filming the videos, famous quotes, and ton of classic and rare photos. Maybe also interviews or quotes
from key figures in Madonna's career: Liz Rosenberg, Seymour, Freddie, Nikki, Donna, Guy O'Seary, Jean Paul Gaultier, Maripol, Dolce & Gabbana, Steven Meisel, Herb Ritts, Jean Baptiste Mondino, David Fincher, Patrick Leonard, Shep, Bray, Orbit, Mirwais, etc.
