Swept away (aka Love, Sex, Drugs and Money) was filmed in both Malta and Sardinia. Release date is October 11,2002. Ska Films is producing the film.
Guy Ritchie has written the screenplay and as well he is directing the film. Madonna will play Amber, a spoiled rich woman.
Other cast include John Turturro, and Bruce Greenwood.
The film is about a spoiled rich woman, Amber (Madonna), who goes on a yachting
holiday in the Mediterranean with friends, where she meets a communist
sailor, Giuseppe Esposito (Turturro), who dislikes her bad mood and
snooty behavior. When they become stranded on a remote desert island
alone, however, their roles reverse, and the shift of power in their
relationship sends them falling in love, wild with passion...
